Everyday Matters

EDM Challenge #249 - draw a coffee pot

EDM Challenge #3 - draw your mug

I joined Everyday Matters, a yahoo group for illustrators and people who want inspiration and ideas for art. I'm going to refer to Everyday Matters as EDM from now on. EDM also promotes keeping a visual journal. That is something I think I would like. They have a lot of activities going on over there, but right now I am mainly interested in the weekly challenges. I completed two so far. I took one from the end, "draw a coffee pot", and one from the beginning, "draw your mug". Some of the ideas I would probably not think of drawing them, and some I have in past art I created. As I go through the list I see a chance to post some of my previously done pieces, mostly quick sketches and studies. From the blogs I have read by other members everyone seems to be having a lot of fun with it.

I did several sketches not related to EDM this week while I am on vacation. I will post them under a separate post. I am going to post as many as I can today, because it has been difficult, to say the least, to post with my computer. Darn viruses.

Best Wishes,

A.Marie
